Best Places to Buy Real Estate in Colorado

May 15, 2013 By Mark Hunke

With the real estate market heating up, the time to find the ideal property for your family has never been better. The Denver area has an array of fine neighborhoods with spectacular properties. We know the best places in which to buy and sell property and are privileged to assist you with this important event in your life.

Highlands Ranch

With a location just 12 miles south of Denver, Highlands Ranch is nestled north of Castle Rock. It encompasses 28 miles and offers easy access to C-470 and the Denver metropolitan area.

Open space abounds; more than 13,000 acres has been reserved for those who live here. You will enjoy wonderful biking and hiking trails, verdant parks, paved jogging paths and numerous opportunities for recreation. With four state-of-the-art recreation centers, one can stay fit and explore diverse classes. A Farmer’s Market is part of the community; shoppers and browsers gather weekly in season. Moreover, residents can shop at the Park Meadows Mall, with its abundant shops or dine at one of the nearby restaurants, which include smaller more intimate venues as well as larger chain restaurants.

Home prices are varied and range from under $200,000 to the millions for luxurious properties with majestic views.

Cherry Hills Village

Custom Cherry Hills Village homes offer abundant open space and trails as well as spectacular views. With 58 miles of trails along the Highline Canal, hiking, biking, jogging and horseback riding keep residents active. The Cherry Hills Country Club offers golfing as well as other amenities; it is one of the two courses located right in the Village. With no commercial zoning here, properties and settings are surrounded by tranquility and the beauty of the natural landscape. Serenity as well as luxury is offered; prices begin at $650,000 and go upwards into the millions. Sloping hills and lush valleys offers stunning scenery and views along with the ultimate in lifestyle and luxury.

Castle Pines Village

Located close to Daniels Park and the Bergamot Trail, Castle Pines Village is in the Castle Rock vicinity and offers luxurious homes in an area rich with history. The area was settled by miners in search of gold, who remained and mined the rich rhyolite, a stone similar to granite. The name Castle Rock came from the rock formation in the central town that resembled a castle. Approximately 45 minutes from downtown Denver, residents enjoy days in the city or hiking and biking over 44 miles of trails.

Castle Pines Village is north of Castle Rock and includes luxurious homes in the million dollar range and upward. Golf, tennis, the Canyon Club and Village Lake Fitness Center are all part of the community as well as playgrounds and parks.

Greenwood Village

Located within Arapahoe County, Greenwood Village has approximately 15,000 residents and is known as a suburb of Denver; it prides itself on the many amenities it offers its residents. Luxurious living can be found here as well as more moderately priced homes.

Residents enjoy the Highline Canal area for walking and hiking the more than 40 miles of trails. Shopping and dining are plentiful, and light rail provides transportation.

These outstanding areas are some of the best in which to buy or sell at present.
